Clover

In 1998 our daughter brought home a mature long hair black cat that
could no longer live with his owner. The cat could not adjust to us.  He
had to stay inside due to being  declawed.

All of us were miserable,
even the cat.  I finally called a friend at the Humane Society and she
said she would find the cat a good home, which she did.

A few weeks
later Clover showed up at our back door.  She was a stray.  When our
daughter saw her she said, " You can't make me give her up because God
sent her to me."   Clover has been a very important part of our lives.
We now ask where is the little furry princess when we come home if she
is not in sight.  She is a beautiful cat and very sweet. (spoiled also)

When we took Clover to the vet, she told us that Clover was a unique cat.  She is a tortoise shell long hair.  Only the females of the breed have this coloring.  Clover got into a fight with a squirrel a couple of years ago.  When the vet shaved her to sew the wound, her skin is the same color as her coat.  Where she was black, her skin was black, where it was yellow, her skin was yellow etc.
I have attached some other pictures of Clover.  She weighs about 15 pounds now.
